 Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Stacey i saw that you mentioned this in another post so i thought i would give you my views on it as i have it. Borderlands = Lose Stacey for a long long while. It has me and the boys hooked, they have finally almost dropped COD4MW for this(although that could be because MW2 is iminant.... 87 Bazillion Guns (or something like that) the satisfaction of sniping someone and blowing their head clean off after upgrading of weapons. The XIII style graphics, RPG gameplay ie lots of missions, levelling up (currently on 21 myself), weapons and artifact collecting, although lots of respawning of enemies can be a bit tiresome as you know you have to go kill them again. Stacey without shadow of a doubt a game for you! I haven't played Multiplayer but reviews say it is better than playing solo (although i prefer to do missions, not so much an online player) If you don't already have this game, i recommend it although with MW2 out on the 11th i know it won't be the top of peoples list (understandable).

 Re: Borderlands XBOX360, PS3, PC
I think Borderlands is just my cup of tea.
You realise the pc version of MW 2 has no dedicated servers don't you? I have no interest in MW as it just just another overpriced fps.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
I have completed this game and i am now 3 quarters of the way through the play through, yes you can continue playing doing all the missions again but with all your guns stats and money from doing it the first time mint..... headshots are bloody awesome. hehe The enemies are that much harder as well though. It's been a long time that i can say i have completed a game and then carried on playing it straight through again.. Marina is a Borderlands widow....or so she has said ... ooops I love the fact you can drop it and pick it up again without having to remember what you were doing. Great game.... run up my street Forgot to mention that you don't have to do the missions second time round.... you can just go on a kill fest lol (doing the missions just has more point to it)

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Stacey was around this weekend and so we popped this in and had a multiplayer bash on it, played quite nice, pretty good fun even in splitscreen with most of your view reduced.
In multiplayer you do the same missions as in the Single player sharing out the cash etc from quests, does require your team mates to share the loot(guns, ammo) though. Worked well online too though Stacey couldn't take his game save with him so had to start again when joining me online for continuation of the game, would be quite a nice one for a couple more of us to get in on (though I think its limited to 4 in a party) seems more geared up for co-op than single player from what I've seen.
As Stacey said rich, pick it up.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
I played a little bit more last night and got my character up to level 7 which is not bad for two hours play - which was where I finished my character at your house. I killed 9 toes last night in no time as I had much more powerful weapons than when starting from scratch with the single player.
I found a really nice smg last night to, it not powerful but it has a very fast rate of accurate fire, zoom and an extended mag. My electric based combat rifle eats shields for breakfast.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
I saw you playing I thought to myself I hop he doesn't go too far and level way beyond me.
We need to be at similar as so we get suitable foe to fight last night as you were levelling up I was killing stuff and getting 1 or 2 xp points because the I thik the game was picking creatures in between our levels.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Bought this a couple of days ago, not really played it for more than a few minutes so far, seems very much like Fallout 3 to me on initial impression, which is no bad thing at all.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Cool, you'll have to join up with me and Stacey for a Co-op game, we are at about level 8-10, if you get a character to that level it would probably be best though you would ramp up quickly.
Though its hard for me to get time on it for a while as I am in tape out phase, tonight is the first night in ages I took some time of for myself, hence getting the forum going.
Have you got an ear piece?

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Not yet, should get one really as there's a few games out already and coming soon that I wouldn't mind getting and trying online.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
We're looking to go on at 2030ish tonight see if you can sort something out, any bluetooth headset should work or if you have a usb camera with mic that'll often work even if the camera doesn't
Of course you can join us anyway just be a bit better with voice.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Just remember more players = tougher enemies but better rewards. My main character is currently at level 32 and has some seriously nice weaponry.

I should be able to make it, I am only a level 5 as I only really started playing last night , hope that won't pull you both down too much.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
It'll just mean for a little while we won't earn much xp as you ramp up but you'll ramp quite quickly, or at least that is what happened when Stacey started fresh, I'm level 10, he is was 8, so your not a million miles away.
You might be best to host as we'll go from your thread, or perhaps Stace if he hasn't progressed his MP charactor.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
You could start an MP game a bit earlier to level yourself up a bit so we are on a similar level and then we can just drop in to your game, you can drop in and out as you like in the game which is handy.

 Re: Borderlands (360.PC.PS3)
Just got to the point I could start earning so points as you guys caught up and Sharyn wanted the TV back.
Really need voice for this as me and Stacey didn't have a clue what you were doing and couldn't easily share kit with you like we did between ourselves/.
