I splilt a cup of tea on my laptop it seems to still work but either a sensor is broken or I have a short which I can't see as when I boot up, Linux detects the thermal probe is 191 degreesC and shuts down.

If have left the machine up on the Bios Screen for a while and no area seems to heat up, fans don't kick in any louder etc, all seems pretty normal but I cannot boot Linux due to it reading the sensor, its always 191, which leads me to believe its a fault.

I may have to put windows on just to have a usable machine as it ignores most errors but I'd rather not any tips?

Maybe it needs more time to dry out.

You don't have sugar in your tea do you so that should not be a problem. I guess it just needs to dry out. Still if it was running 191 it would be dry in no time.

All is well this morning it appeared to dry out and was running fine, no probe errors.
